IOC Meeting Dates
All clubs/organization are required to send at least one officer present at each meeting in order to remain in good standing.
All meetings will be held in room 4022 [Flaten's room] at 2:45PM unless otherwise stated.

Starting a New Club
Be sure to read through all club requirements and procedures to ensure that you have met all requirements before submitting your application.For an application - Email Ms. Flaten at cchs.sgaadvisor@gmail.com
Club Requirements:
- Must be an original and unique idea [check the club list at Clubs - Rodeo of Activities link]
- Cannot conflict with an existing club
- Must have a teacher sponsor [teacher cannot sponsor more than 2 clubs on campus]
- Must elect or appoint officers
- Must create club bi-laws [template available below]
- Must attend monthly IOC meetings
- Must submit IOC Monthly Club Reports [form available below]
- Must adhere to all IOC Club Rules and Requirements included in the IOC Handbook
- Founding officers must be in good academic standing [2.5 GPA or higher]
- Founding officers must be in good conduct standing [no disciplinary issues]
Procedure to Start a Club:
- Verify club is original, unique, and does not conflict with any other currently established club on campus.
- Find a teacher to sponsor your club
- Obtain at least 20 signatures/names from current CCHS students who support and would be interested in joining your proposed club
- Create Club bylaws/constitution [template provided below]
- Submit all required documentation to Ms. Flaten - cchs.sgaadvisor@gmail.com
- Once approved by Ms. Flaten, application will be Submittted to IOC for review [IOC is located in room 4022]
What Next?
- Once submitted, allow two weeks for review by Ms. Flaten. You will be notified via email once a decision has been made.
- What if my club application is denied? Don't be discouraged! Visit an existing club and share your idea. A lot of clubs are looking for new ideas to incorporate within their framework.
Existing Club Renewals
UPDATE: Due to the interruption of regular schooling due to COVID-19, all club renewals will be completed during the beginning of the 20-21 school year. Information will be updated as new information comes in.
Existing CCHS Clubs are required to submit a Club Renewal Form by May 20, 2020. Renewal forms will be used to update all existing club's information. Failure to do so in a timely manner may result in the removal of your club and a subsequent "New Club" application process.

Rush Week
Rush Week occurs during the SECOND FULL week of the school year. It is a great opportunity to promote your club and acquire new members.
